KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 15) -- Malaysia's Top Glove Corporation, the world's largest rubber glove producer by capacity, said Thursday its net profit grew 31.3% in the fiscal second quarter from a year earlier buoyed by record sales volume amid strong demand that helped lift average selling price.
Net profit for the three months ended Feb 28 totalled 109.01 million ringgit ($27.83 million) compared with 83.05 million ringgit over the same period last year, Top Glove said in an exchange filing. Quarterly revenue rose 12.6% year-on-year to 958.44 million ringgit from 851.54 million ringgit.
