Netherlands set a women's short track speed skating 3,000m relay world record with their final run in Pyeongchang - but only took home the bronze medal.

Instead, South Korea won their sixth Olympic title in seven Games in what proved a dramatic final.

The Dutch finished third in the heats so only made the B final, but they won that in four minutes, 03.471 seconds - quicker than any team in the A final.

So when two of the four finalists were disqualified they were bumped to third.

China finished the race in second but they were penalised along with Canada, so it was Italy who claimed silver.

South Korea have dominated this event since 1994, except when China took gold at Vancouver 2010, and the hosts' victory earned 1500m champion Choi Min-jeong her second gold of these Games.
