Neymar was hoping his name would be on everyone's lips after Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday.

And for the most part it was - but not for the right reasons like he expected.

The Ligue 1 giants went ahead in the first leg of their last-16 clash against last season's competition winners through Adrien Rabiot.

But a Cristiano Ronaldo double and late effort from Marcelo - who was quite possibly the man of the match - ensured Real Madrid are in a great position going into the away leg at Parc des Princes.

Neymar angered some fans immediately after the game as TV cameras focused on him making his way off the pitch.

Supporters noticed that he didn't stick around to shake hands with his team-mates nor the Real Madrid players; instead he shot off down the tunnel.

His decision to do so caused a bit of a backlash, with many taking to Twitter to hit out at the star's 'unsportsmanlike' behaviour.

Other eagle-eyed fans spotted something else the Brazilian did during the game too, which may just upset sportswear giant Nike.

Recently Neymar was a guest of honour at Nike's Mercurial Superfly and Vapor 360 launch at The Printworks in London.

But just half an hour into PSG's clash with Los Blancos, Neymar replaced his brand new Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 with his old Nike Mercurial Puro Fenomeno.

The reason for this, it seems, is that the Brazilian kept slipping over on the pitch.

Fans took to social media to comment on what they had noticed, with many suggesting Nike will be a little annoyed with the £199million forward.
