EUR/USD up 36 pips to 1.2286
The euro has had a steady bid since North America arrived on the scene. Just as New York was ramping up, it hit a session low of 1.2235 but since then it has slowly climbed to 1.2286 and is now just a handful of pips from the Asian high of 1.2297.
Offers at the big figure may prove tough to overcome but in the bigger picture, the euro looks to be trying to establish a bottom above 1.22 after last week's slide.
