Real Madrid have agreed a verbal deal for Brazilian wonderkid Alan Souza as they continue to bring the world's best young talent to the Bernabéu.

The 17-year-old who currently plays for Palmeiras has been excelling at the club as well as for the national team where he has been continuing to dazzle fans at the U17 world cup in India.

While a formal deal is yet to be completed Diario AS report that Real have agreed terms to sign the youngster next summer, where he would play for their B team, Real Madrid Castilla.

The price of signing the hottest young talent is not cheap however with Alan having a whopping £44m buy-out clause with his current contract. The La Liga champions are expected to pay around half that figure with the forward entering the final year of his contract when the deal is likely to go through.

This is not the first time Real have looked to South America for their talent, with 17-year-old Vinicius ready to arrive next summer after playing out the current season at Flamengo.

Real also have the likes of Martin Odegaard and Federico Valverde, who are currently on loan at Heerenveen and Deportivo respectively, to call back on as they continue to usher in the next era of top football talent once Cristiano Ronaldo has hung up his boots.
