Rugby Star Shares Fiji To The World
Another rugby celebrity departed our shores having shared his love for Fiji and its people on his social media platforms.
A most welcome move as Fijian tourism stakeholders work hard to bring home the tourism dollar.
For the five days he was here with his family, Sonny Bill Williams posted pictures of their stay at the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, his hike up the Sigatoka sand dunes including a horseback ride with Sautabu villagers.
Big smiles with the locals from Sautabu Village today, good luck to the henibua boys this weekend ❤🏉✊🏽 pic.twitter.com/3TL8JZMiMF

He posted a total of eight Instagram posts which was simultaneously shared on his Twitter handle and Facebook page.
He described how beautiful and welcoming Fiji was.
In his final post before departure, Mr Williams thanked Fiji Airways for looking after his family.
“Vinaka @FijiAirways for looking after my little family this morning.”
While its difficult to measure the impact of how celebrities and influencers draw visitors to our shores, key tourism stakeholders are taking this strategy seriously.
Recently Tourism Fiji brought Bollywood actress Iliena D’Cruz to share her Fijian experience with her social media followers.
For those celebrities who visit here on their own accord, their stay and posts are an added bonus to Fiji and Fijian tourism as a whole.
