Mahindra Electric Unveils The Future Of Mobility — EV 2.0
India's leading electric vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra Electric has unveiled a new technology named as EV 2.0. The company will also strive for the faster adoption of EVs in India.
Mahindra Electric, a pioneer in the development and manufacture of electric vehicles (EV), has unveiled a new technology.
The new technology leads to the next generation of Electric Vehicles, named as EV 2.0. Mahindra Electric has pioneered the sustainable mobility cause in India and has remained committed to it for almost a decade.
Mahindra now offers a range of EVs, suitable for personal as well as shared and last mile connectivity. The Company is also investing in next generation EV technology, which will deliver longer range, higher speeds and the next generation of connected car technologies.
Mahindra is also striving for the faster adoption of the electric vehicles by setting up of charging infrastructure and fleet operations, delivering mobility as service. The connected car technology will act as a foundation for smart mobility in smart cities.
Mahindra has been a leader in electric vehicles technology in the country. The company made its entry into the EV segment by acquiring the Reva Electric Car Company in 2010. Mahindra also provides next generation mobility solutions and also changed the nomenclature to Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited.
Pawan Goenka, MD Mahindra and Mahindra and Chairman of Mahindra Electric said, "The time has now arrived for EVs to become mainstream and Mahindra has the right technology and products for India. We will actively engage with the Government, both at the centre and the state, municipal bodies and other private players for setting up a robust EV ecosystem."
