Not going to Thunder? Here are other things to do in S. Ind. this weekend
There are plenty of things to do in Southern Indiana this weekend, including the biggest event in town — Thunder Over Louisville. Check out these great events:
10th Annual Thunder at the Bristol. Bristol Bar & Grille, 700 W. Riverside Dr., Jeffersonville, Saturday. The restaurant opens at 3 p.m.; service is from 4-11 p.m. Food and drink buffet. Guests will receive wristbands so they may come and go as they please. Cost range from $115 for patio bar stool or limited view seating to $180 for indoor seating. 812-218-1995.
KingFish Restaurants. 601 W. Riverside Drive, Jeffersonville, 1:30 p.m. through the end the of fireworks. The restaurant will offer options for seating indoors, $170 per person and $85 for ages 10 and younger; on the lower deck,$395 per table of four; tent seating, $80 per person. Rocky’s Beer Garden ThunderParty. 715 W. Riverside Dr., Jeffersonville, 2-10 p.m. Saturday. Come view Thunder on the Indiana side. Beer Garden: ticket, $100, $40 for ages 12 and younger and includes festival style seating, private restrooms, children activities, appetizers and dinner buffet. “Sister Act.” Derby Dinner Playhouse , 525 Marriott Dr., Clarksville, 7:45 p.m. Thursday-Saturday; 1:30 and 7:45 p.m. Sunday; 1 and 7:45 p.m. April 26. Derby Dinner Playhouse presents the Broadway musical comedy about a disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, who witnessed a murder and was put in protective custody as a nun in a convent.
