Thai baht stabilizes as uncertainty subsides

TOKYO -- The Thai baht is regaining ground after a sharp tumble sparked by the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej last week.

The baht dropped to almost 36 to the dollar at one point, the lowest in nearly eight months, but recently has recovered to around 35 to the greenback.
