August 16 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertilizer maker Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] said on Tuesday it has restarted operations at its urea and ammonia units after a regular overhaul worth 110 million kuna ($16.5 million/14.7 million euro).
The overhaul of all of its production facilities was one of the largest carried out in the past 10 years, Petrokemija said in filing with the Zagreb bourse.
The company funded the works with a loan from the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR).
In July, Petrokemija said that within the regular overhaul it also completed the construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline, worth 45 million kuna, which is set to increase its energy efficiency.
The company closed up 6.57% on the Zagreb bourse on Friday at 19.22 kuna.
