TAGUA - Transporte Aéreo Guaraní (Asuncion) is planning to resume domestic Paraguayan operations with the launch of regular flights between Asuncion and Chaco Central later this month.

The service, if approved by the Paraguayan civil aviation authority (Dirección Nacional de Aeronautica Civil - DINAC), will operate twice weekly using one of TAGUA's three Cessna (twin piston) 402s.

An air taxi/passenger charter specialist, TAGUA last operated scheduled flights back in 2014 with an Asuncion-Encarnación service. The route was later abandoned following unspecified actions taken by the DINAC.
