They bicker on screen but Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan is adamant that his TV Wife Susanna Reid does not get the credit she deserves.
He tells Square Eyes: “She is a beautiful woman at the top of her game.
"What the viewer doesn’t see is that it is not just about choosing a nice dress or a pair of shoes, you are talking about a very well trained journalist who I see in every commercial break talking to producers about changing headlines, pictures, the running order of stories.
“All the time, trying to improve the show in real time. That is dedication. And I have worked with lots of people who don’t have that streak in them.”

Despite their on-air rows, Piers thinks they make a good screen partnership.

He adds: “There will always be a moment when Susanna brings it back and gets it back to the bigger picture.
"But she likes the energy I bring and she gets that it brings something different to the show, which maybe it didn’t have before, certainly the unpredictability of it.
"A little bit of spark is good for GMB.”
