BT Revenue Declines as Fight for TV Customers Gathers Pace

BT Group Plc reported lower sales and predicted profit in its consumer business will decline this quarter as its rivalry with Sky Plc to broadcast the most popular soccer matches intensifies.

Revenue fell 2 percent to 4.28 billion pounds ($6.7 billion) in the three months ended June, the London-based company said. That compared with the 4.29 billion pounds predicted by analysts a survey provided by the company.
