Auckland International Airport Limited
(ASX:AIA) says that Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand has plans to build a manufacturing operation at its business park.
In addition to the manufacturing plant Auckland Airport will have to develop a purpose built 12,000sqm warehouse for the facility.
The facility will be built at The Landing Business Park at Auckland Airport with Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand one of the largest fast moving consumer goods manufacturers in the country.
The location of the facility will allow the consolidation of transport and security and complement existing manufacturing operations.
Auckland Airport made a net profit of $88.7 million for the first six months of the 2015 financial year.
