Symphony International chairman buys $1.09m worth in shares

LONDON (ShareCast) - The chairman and a director at Symphony International splashed out on shares showing faith in the business even after reporting a decline in full-year revenues. Anil Thadani, chairman at the investment group, bought 1.8m shares at an individual price of $0.6, spending a total of $1.089m in the transaction.

Additionally, director Sunil Chandiramani purchased 1.36m new shares at the same price, at a cost of $816,875.

Following the purchase, Thadani now holds 59.28m shares in the group and Chandiramani holds another 17m shares.

The group's revenues fell 12% to £7.19m due to delays in d2w masterbatch sales, a product created by its environmental division that shortens the life of normal plastic products.
