The Ba Provincial Holdings Company Limited management is now working on the finer details of its shipping investment.
A press statement yesterday indicated the company is now at an exploration stage studying on whatever options to take.
“We are looking at getting a boat that caters for both passengers and cargoes as well,” stated the release.
This was after islanders raised their concern over the high boat fare they have to pay while travelling in tourism boats.
“It’s about $80 one-way and the company is looking on the best option to take to ensure a lower boat fare and cargo rates.”
