•Epic Wines & Spirits, the California-based distributor owned by Bill Foley of Foley Family Wines, has agreed to handle statewide distribution for Wilson Artisan Wineries. Established by Ken and Diane Wilson with a single Dry Creek Valley estate—Wilson Winery—in the 1990s, Wilson Artisan Wineries has since expanded to include seven additional wineries, including Mazzocco Sonoma Winery, Pezzi King Vineyards, DeLorimier Estate Winery, Matrix Winery, St. Anne’s Crossing Winery, Soda Rock Winery and Jaxon Key’s Estate Winery & Distillery. Epic Wines & Spirits is based in Capitola, California and was acquired by Foley in 2013. Epic has also recently unveiled partnerships with Burgundy’s Domaines Albert Bichot and London spirits group Mayfair Brands Ltd.

•Accolade Wines has completed its acquisition of Australia’s Grant Burge Wines. The deal, originally announced in December, provides Accolade with a presence in the Barossa region, building on its existing Australian holdings in McLaren Vale (Hardys), Western Australia (Houghton), Margaret River (Brookland Valley), Clare Valley (Leasingham) and Tasmania (Bay of Fires). Accolade will look to raise the profile of the Grant Burge brand outside its domestic market.

•Beam Suntory-owned Pinnacle vodka has extended its flavor range with two new entries—Pinnacle Mimosa and Pinnacle Habanero. Both targeted toward the brunch cocktail occasion, Mimosa (60 proof) and Habanero (70 proof) will retail for $12.99 a 750-ml., in line with Pinnacle’s existing stable of more than 40 flavored vodkas. Pinnacle vodka was down 2.1% to 2.7 million cases in the U.S. market last year, according to Impact Databank.
