Ludhiana Industry invites South African industry for better trade ties

To discuss bilateral trade, Rajiv Chawla, chairman of integrated association of micro, small and medium enterprises of India (I am SME of India) and Gurmeet Singh Kular, president of federation of industrial and commercial organization had a meeting with Janine Myburg, president cape chamber of commerce and industry at Capetown in South Africa.

Ludhiana: To discuss bilateral trade, Rajiv Chawla, chairman of integrated association of micro, small and medium enterprises of India (I am SME of India) and Gurmeet Singh Kular, president of federation of industrial and commercial organization had a meeting with Janine Myburg, president cape chamber of commerce and industry at Capetown in South Africa.
Gurmeet Singh Kular Invited delegation of cape chamber of commerce and industry to come to India and see opportunities for investing in India.
The delegation will visit the country in June and interact with members to explore business opportunities in India and South Africa.
South Africa is a good market for India as people there commute mainly on cycles. There is a good scope for the auto, mobile and handling equipment industry due to presence of a huge port at Capetown. Recently, TATA industries had set up a plant in South Africa.
Kular said: "The two countries can engage in good business and bilateral trade could be promoted. We have invited South African businessmen to Ludhiana to explore trade possibilities.”
