BUCHAREST, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Romanian financial markets on Friday.
BUDGET DATA
Romania's consolidated budget deficit edged up marginally to 0.24 percent of gross domestic product in January-August from 0.2 percent in January-July, on track to meet a full-year IMF-agreed target, the finance ministry said on Thursday.
DEBT TENDER
Romania sold a planned 500 million lei ($144.6 million) in six-month treasury bills on Thursday at an average accepted yield of 2.55 percent, central bank data showed.
CEE MARKETS
CEE INVESTMENT NEEDS
Central and Eastern Europe will need $100 billion of financing from the private-sector for infrastructure projects between now and 2030, according to a new report from Standard & Poor's Ratings Services.
Around $1 trillion will be needed to finance infrastructure development until 2030. Governments are likely to provide the bulk of the funding, the report said.
FORD ROMANIA
The Romanian unit of U.S. carmaker Ford said on Thursday it saw a 51 percent rise of Ford cars registered in Romania, to 4,601 vehicles.
MIGRATION
More than 1.2 million Romanians lived and worked in other European Union countries in 2013, more than any other EU nationals, European Commission data showed. www.mediafax.ro
POSTAL SERVICES
Romania's state-owned postal company needs investment worth 100 million euros, which will be provided by a strategic buyer, the information minister said on Thursday. The sale of a 51 percent stake in Posta Romana is expected next year.

NUCLEARELECTRICA
China's CGN filed a preliminary binding bid to partner Romania's state-owned nuclear power producer Nuclearelectrica to build to more reactors at its plant in Cernavoda, and negotiations will now start between the two parties, deputy prime minister Liviu Dragnea said. www.mediafax.ro
