TransAlta Corp. gained the most in more than a year after the Alberta electricity producer announced the appointment of a former oil and natural gas executive to its board of directors.
John Dielwart, former chief executive officer of ARC Resources Ltd. will join TransAlta’s board next month, the company said in a statement on Marketwired today.
