ETF Inflows/Outflow: IVV, KBWC, IAU, UXJ

Inflows

Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV), which added 3.5 million shares, or a 1.3% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IVV, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is off about 2%, and Exxon Mobil (XOM) is lower by about 0.3%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the KBW Capital Markets Portfolio (KBWC), which added 100,000 shares, for a whopping 50.0% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of KBWC, in morning trading today State Street (STT) is down about 1%, and Goldman Sachs (GS) is higher by about 0.5%.

Outflows

Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the iShares Gold Trust (IAU), which shed 3.9 million shares, or a 0.6% decrease week over week.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares Ultra MSCI Pacific ex-Japan (UXJ), which lost 50,000 of its shares, for a whopping 50.0% decline in outstanding shares.
