  • Earth-moving contractors have been mobilized to site and first ground was broken on 22 July 2011.

  • Gold recovery operations is expected to commence by end August 2011, with mining of gravel ore expected to reach an initial rate of 1000m3 per day.

SINGAPORE, 26 July 2011 – The Think Environmental Co Ltd (“TTEC”or “the Group”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a new concession, the Kashmir Project (Dunkwa Area) in Ghana where it aims to launch into immediate production. The immediate production plan comprises additional equipment comprising a 150m3 per hour trommel screen, 1 x 20” Knelson gold concentrator, 2 x GoldKatcha gold concentrators, 2 x Gemini tables, all of which are en route to site. The estimated initial capital to achieve production amounted to US$925,000.

Concessions in the Kashmir area were recently acquired by the Group’s 51% owned African Stellar (West Africa) Limited (“ASWA”) as part of an additional push by the Group towards identifying and securing additional sites near the Group’s existing projects at Akropong, Koniyaw and Konongo.
