South Port New Zealand Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the provision and management of port and warehousing services in New Zealand. The company provides pilotage, towage, berthage, and full marine services to international and coastal vessels, including the southern fishing fleet. It also owns and operates cold and dry warehousing facilities for dairy, forestry, and general cargo industries. In addition, South Port New Zealand Limited provides container, break bulk, and bulk cargo services for the import of alumina, petroleum, fertilizers, acid, and fish products; and the export of aluminum, timber, logs, dairy, meat by-products, and woodchips. Further, the company operates a container terminal, including vanning and devanning operations, as well as a full container servicing function. South Port New Zealand Limited was founded in 1988 and is based in Bluff, New Zealand.
