The company produces and assembles various parts of an appliance product, such as cabinets, doors, panels, and drums that are used in the manufacture of appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, and clothes dryers. It also offers automated meat processing systems using a combination of robotic technology and x-ray information system integration. In addition, the company provides sample preparation and automation solutions to the mineral sector. Further, it offers upgrades to equipment, on-site assistance and maintenance, toolmaking, preventative maintenance audits, spare parts, and software enhancements. The company has an alliance with Kuka Roboter of Germany to develop systems for production problems using advanced six axis industrial robots. Scott Technology Limited, formerly known as J & A.P. Scott Limited, was founded in 1913 and is headquartered in Dunedin, New Zealand.
