Further to its FY2012 announcement, MCK attaches its NZX Appendix 7 in
relation to the dividend declared by the Board.
As stated in the Directors'' Review and in NZX Appendix 1, the company has
resolved to pay a total dividend of 1.2 cents per share on 10 May 2013. The
record date will be 3 May 2013.

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Limited (NZX: MCK) today reported
its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2012 and announced a
profit after tax and non-controlling interests of $46.1 million (2011: $20.6
million) on total revenue of $105.2 million (2011: $99.5 million). The
result is the best in the Group''s history.

For the year ended 31 December 2012, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New
Zealand Limited ("MCHNZ") has reported a record profit attributable to owners
of the parent of $46.1 million (2011: $20.6 million), an increase over the
