LYTTELTON PORT OF CHRISTCHURCH ANNOUNCES FURTHER INVESTMENT AT CONTAINER
TERMINAL
Lyttelton Port of Christchurch (LPC) is to buy a fourth ship-to-shore gantry
crane to handle the growing container volumes at the Port.
LPC will also expand its fleet of straddle carriers by investing in another
four new diesel electric straddles to increase the capacity of its current
fleet from 18 to 22.

Following a Board meeting on 2 May 2013, Lyttelton Port of Christchurch
wishes to announce a revised Earthquake-adjusted Profit after taxation
projection in the range of $15 million to $16 million for the financial year
ending 30 June 2013. This reflects strong business performance.
This is an increase from the advice on 29 February 2013 to the market of a
forecast between $13 million to $15 million.

CHAIRMAN ELECT
Lyttelton Port of Christchurch (LPC) wishes to advise Trevor Burt has been
voted Chairman Elect, with immediate effect. He will take over the role of
Chairman on 30 June 2013, when current Chairman, Rodger Fisher, steps down.
Mr Burt is a Professional Director and has been on the LPC Board since
November 2008 and Deputy Chairman since June 2011.

Lyttelton Port of Christchurch (LPC) wishes to advise that Mr Rodger Fisher
is stepping down as Chairman of LPC, effective from 30 June 2013. Mr Fisher
will remain as a Director through to the Annual Meeting in November 2013.
