NZAX listed MYKCO Ltd has announced that it has received the resignation of
Mr Chew Choo Soon effective immediately.
Mr.Chew was the Chair and major shareholder of MyKris the Malaysian Internet
Service Provider, which was previously owned by Mykco (then named Mykris
International Ltd. The founders of Mykris, Mr. Chew and Mr. Chang purchased
the business back from the listed company in 2016 and left Mykco as a listed
shell
Mr Brent King the acting Chairman said, " Mr Chew''s resignation had taken the
Board by surprise as it was hoped that Mr Chew would be available to continue
until a transaction was completed. The Board will meet shortly to appoint a
permanent Chair. Until that time I will act as the Chair. "
Mr King continued stating, " We respect the pressures that Mr Chew has on his
time and we understand his decision. Mr Chew has been an excellent colleague
to deal with and he has been a quality Director. We are sorry to lose him
from the New Zealand business sector, and we wish him the very best for the
future."
Mr King said, " There are a number of matters concerning the future of the
company being considered currently and the Board is hopeful of making an
announcement prior to year end."
