AWF Madison Group Limited (NZX:AWF) announces that Statistics NZ has
contracted with its subsidiary Madison Recruitment (Madison) who will be
supported by its other subsidiary AWF, as the preferred supplier of Census
Recruitment and Associated Services for the 2018 Census.
Statistics NZ''s stated vision is to "unleash the power of data to change
lives". The New Zealand Census of Population and Dwellings (the Census),
first conducted in 1851, has a key role to play in this.
Madison has been awarded a contract commencing on 20 October 2016 and running
through to 30 June 2018. This major project will involve the recruitment of
between 3,500 and 4,000 staff throughout New Zealand who will be responsible
for all Census activities - address verification, canvassing, field
operations, data processing and post enumeration surveys.
