Michael Hill International receives final court orders for scheme of
arrangement
The directors of Michael Hill International Limited (NZX: MHI) refer to this
morning''s announcement regarding the scheme of arrangement (Scheme) approved
by shareholders at yesterday''s Special Meeting.
The Company is pleased to advise that it has now received final orders from
the High Court approving the Scheme.
Completion of the Hill HoldCo Transaction has also occurred.
As previously announced, the record date for the Scheme will be 5.00pm on 28
June 2016. The implementation date for the Scheme (being the date of issue
and allotment of Scheme Consideration) will be 6.00pm (Brisbane time) on 29
June 2016. The Company expects the new ASX listing to be in place from early
July 2016.
The Company intends to lodge the High Court''s final orders with the Registrar
of Companies shortly.
