Further to its announcement on 20 May, Kirkcaldie & Stains Limited (the
''Company'') wishes to confirm that it has settled today under the Deed of
Surrender of Lease (the ''Deed'') in relation to its leasehold premises at 19
Regent Street, Petone, Lower Hutt (''Petone Lease'').
Today the Company paid the landlord the surrender payment of $400,000 and the
real estate agent''s commission of $50,000 plus GST pursuant to the Deed. The
Company is now released from the Petone Lease and from any future liability
for rent at these premises.
