New Mad Butcher Stores Confirmed
Veritas Investments Limited (NZX:VIL) is pleased to announce the opening of
two new stores for the recently acquired Mad Butcher business. The business
has forecast to open four new stores by 30 June 2014.
"The first two stores will be in Courtenay Street, New Plymouth and Leven
Street, Invercargill. Fit-out of both stores is now underway and will
showcase the new look Mad Butcher branding and retail format. Both are due to
open doors in September 2013. This will increase our store footprint to 38
locations throughout New Zealand" commented Michael Morton, Mad Butcher CEO.
Veritas'' Chairman Mark Darrow also noted "The opening of new Mad Butcher
stores is an important part of the business growth strategy and it is great
that we have early momentum with these two stores opening in the first
quarter of the financial year."
Locations for other stores are in varying stages of investigation and
planning, and will be advised to the market as they are confirmed.
