METLIFECARE ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Retirement village and aged care provider Metlifecare Limited is pleased to
announce the appointment of Dr Noeline Whitehead as an independent director
of the Board.
Dr Whitehead has an extensive knowledge of the industry, with over 30 years''
experience in the residential aged care sector. She has recently held the
position of Clinical Nurse Director for residential care and the Community
Geriatric Service with Counties Manukau District Health Board. Noeline also
lectures at the University of Auckland on subjects such as clinical
leadership. Through her expertise and professional activities, Dr Whitehead
is passionate about the direction of health care in the residential aged care
setting.
The Chairman of Metlifecare, Mr Peter Brown, commented: "We are delighted to
welcome Noeline to the Board. Her significant experience working in the
hospital and aged care industry will be invaluable to Metlifecare as we
continue our growth strategy and further our commitment to offering continuum
of care in our portfolio".
The Metlifecare Board now consists of four independent directors, two
non-independent directors and its Managing Director, Mr Edwards.
